Collection: Welcome to the World of the Lagoon

I spent nearly twenty years training dolphins across four countries and people have been telling me to write a book about it ever since. The problem? Twenty years of adventures don't fit in one memoir.

So I created something better.

The Lagoon Chronicles is what I call "beyond memoir" — real stories, experiences, and  marine life transformed into page-turning fiction set on a sun-soaked Caribbean island. If you love tropical romance, authentic marine biology, found family, and slow-burn love stories that take their time, you are exactly where you need to be.

My debut novel Undercurrents of Love launches the series in 1997 on a Caribbean island where dolphin trainer Riley Byrne is running out of reasons to stay until researcher Dr. Gray Whittal arrives and changes everything. It is warm, witty, and impossible to put down. Readers who love clean island romance with a little suspense threaded through have called it the perfect escape read.

Beyond the books, this is also home to official Lagoon Chronicles merchandise, immersive reading and writing retreats at Rising Moon Studios just outside Edmonton, Alberta, and The Lagoon Lounge — a biweekly newsletter filled with behind-the-scenes stories, dolphin facts, and sneak peeks at what is coming next.

Whether you found me through the books, the chocolate, or the dolphins; welcome. Pull up a chair, grab something warm to drink, and stay a while. The island is waiting.
