Under the Island Sky — Book 2 cover by Colleen Heidecker

Under the Island Sky — Book 2 is here!

You’re seeing it first! The cover for Book 2 in The Lagoon Chronicles series has arrived, and those colours are absolutely striking. Picture it on your shelf, on library shelves, in bookstores — because that’s exactly where it’s headed. Meanwhile, Book 1, Undercurrents of Love, is now fully and widely distributed, including as an eBook for Nook at Barnes & Noble. The series is truly everywhere.

Now available everywhere

Happy St. Patrick’s Day — and an honest update on Book 2

Declan is sending you the luck of the Irish, and I could use a little myself! While the cover is finished and beautiful, the editing is still underway. I completed a full pass and wasn’t happy with it — because you deserve the very best book — so I started again. The new projected publication date is April-ish. What I can tell you is that starting over has made me so much happier with how it’s coming along. Stay tuned. 💙

The duplex — where the story lives

While catching up with a friend in the Bahamas about the May 2027 Reading Retreat, she casually mentioned the duplex, the one that inspired Declan’s home in The Lagoon Chronicles — was online. Of course I immediately raced to find it. The bougainvillea climbing the trellis, just as I remembered. My dog Chewy (Bear in the book) lived there too. Some places really do stay with you and if you join us for the 2027 retreat, we just might need to take a little look.
